Property Owner Questions

Q: What is a property owner's association (POA)?

A: Everyone who owns property in Voyager Village is a member of the association and has a say in how Voyager is operated.

Q: How is Voyager Village managed?

A: A 7-member Board of Directors, elected by the POA, supervisies the management of Voyager Village. All board members must be property owners.

Q: How is Voyager financed?

A: The majority of the Village finances come from annual assessments, income from the restaurant and bar, and user fees from the major amenities.

Every 3rd year (at the annual meeting in June), the property owners vote to authorize a minimum/maximum range for assessments, which may be levied over the subsequent 3-year period.

The management team develops and presents a budget for the fiscal year. The Board of Directors must approve the budget and set the annual assessment within the authorized range.

The current assessment rate is $705 ($685 discounted rate) per year from March 1. A 3% discount is granted if the fee is paid by cash or check.
