2008 Solheim Champs
The Red Team persevered through a rain-soaked Sunday to take the Solheim Trophey this year. Thanks to team captains Norma Olson and Mary Ann Maloney as well ad Gabe and PJ for their help.
Red Caputures Ryder
Red Team captain Dave Hough and Blue Team captain Dave Weis saw the battle tilt back and forth until a thriller on Sunday gave the Red Team the 1 point it needed to take the cup 28 to 27.
Congratulations to Ryder Cup MVP's Dave Boldon and Joel Campe who each took 3 ½ out of 4 points.
In the end, the boys in red had bigger smiles than the boys in blue. Above, left to right, Mark Crowl, Jerry Gobel, Virg Senescall, and Gus Brown.
2008 Ladies' Match Play Winners
It took all 18 holes to determine the winner, but the team of Deb Watson and Cec Bennett (left to right) prevailed over Rob Rudiger and Brenda Weiss in Voyager's summer-long match play event.
