Hiking in Voyager Village, Burnett County, northern Wisconsin

The trails and roadways in and around Voyager Village offer recreational opportunities all year long for our property owners and the general public.


Miles of gently traveled roadways weave through our beautiful 5,200 acre community. Cyclists can ride freely and enjoy sights, while meeting only the occasional slow moving vehicle. In addition, cycling is allowed on all Burnett County Forest roads, trails, and fire lanes.


The roadways and trails within Voyager Village offer ample opportunities for walking and hiking. But if you are looking for more, Burnett County has more than 100 miles of hiking trails ready and waiting.


Burnett County has 50 miles of Summer ATV/UTV trails; approximately 80 miles of Frozen Ground ATV/UTV trails; and 120 miles of Winter ATV/UTV trails. ATV/UTV use is allowed on designated roads in the Town of Jackson, including some paved roads within Voyager Village. See details. 

Cross Country Skiing

There are 11 miles of public cross-country ski trails within Voyager Village and nearly 70 miles more nearby. XC Voyagers, our cross country ski group, is open to all.
