Have Fun on Our Trails All Year Long

Whether you’re looking to hike, bike, ski, or ride on an ATV or snowmobile, the trails and roadways in and around Voyager Village offer recreational opportunities all year long for our property owners and the general public. Get outdoors and explore our beautiful natural landscape today!

Cycling

Miles of gently traveled roadways weave through our beautiful 5,200 acre community. Cyclists can ride freely and enjoy sights, while meeting only the occasional slow moving vehicle. In addition, cycling is allowed on all Burnett County Forest roads, trails, and fire lanes. Voyager Village also has bike rentals (fat tire, mountain, and kids) with great 2-hour and daily rates available in the golf shop.

Hiking

The roadways and trails within Voyager Village offer ample opportunities for walking and hiking. But if you are looking for more, Burnett County has more than 100 miles of hiking trails ready and waiting.

ATV/UTV

Burnett County has 50 miles of Summer ATV/UTV trails; approximately 80 miles of Frozen Ground ATV/UTV trails; and 120 miles of Winter ATV/UTV trails. ATV/UTV use is allowed on designated roads in the Town of Jackson, including some paved roads within Voyager Village.

-Roads open to ATVs are posted with signs identifying them as ATV routes. See below for a list of designated routes in the Town of Jackson.
-ATVs are not allowed at Voyager Village beaches or boat landings.
-ATV use on non-signed roads in the Town of Jackson is illegal and violators are subject to a substantial fine. The Town of Jackson retains the right to rescind the use of ATVs and UTVs.
-All ATV road routes and trails are closed from April 1 to the Friday of Memorial Day weekend.
 

PARKING

Within Voyager Village, ATV/UTV parking is restricted to the area near the entry gate at Lake Little Bear only.
 

GUIDELINES FOR USE

-ATVs in Voyager Village should use the paved surface on the far right side of the road and travel in single file.
-Left turns can be made from any part of the paved roadway that is safe based on conditions.
-Speed limit is 20 mph (10 mph within 150 feet of any dwelling).
-Operators age 16 and older must have a valid state driver’s license.
-Operators under age 16 must carry an ATV safety certificate.
-Operators under age 18 must wear a helmet.
-Owners must have liability insurance for their vehicle.
-Vehicle must display registration or license plate and have operational headlamps and tail lights.

Cross Country Skiing

There are 11 miles of public cross-country ski trails within Voyager Village and nearly 70 miles more nearby. XC Voyagers, our cross country ski group, is open to all.

Snowmobiling

There are more than 300 miles of snowmobile trails at our door step.
