Restaurant Positions Open:
Bartenders–
Bartenders work directly with customers by mixing and serving drink orders. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies. They also handle food orders directly from customers or the wait staff and inform customers of any specials. They ensure food and beverage compliance, restock bar inventory, decide menu items and manage the overall bar operations.
Requirements and Skills:
– Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
· Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
· Computer literacy
· Knowledge of a second language is a plus
· Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
· Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
· Relevant training certificate
Starting Wage: $10.00/Hr
Servers–
A Server’s responsibility is attending to diners before, during, and after their meals by helping them place, receive, and pay for their orders. They also ensure the timely delivery of food and beverages by checking on their tables periodically throughout the service time. Servers also maintain the cleanliness of the Server Station and roll cleaned silverware. Servers will maintain the Coffee Machine, Soda Machine and Salad Station.
Requirements and Skills:
· Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
· Hands-on experience in cashier duties
· Attention to cleanliness and safety
· Patience and customer-oriented approach
· Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
· Responsible and trustworthy
Starting Wage: $10.00/Hr
Barbacks/Bussers
Barbacks often help Bartenders open and close the bar. They keep the bar stocked with liquor, beer, spirits, garnishes, ice cubes and other products needed throughout their shift. They ensure that glasses, stirrers, shakers, strainers and other bartending tools are clean and in the proper position for Bartenders. Their responsibilities can also include cleaning up spills, mopping floors, taking out the Recycling and trash. Bussers clean tables of dirty dishes, stacking plates and bowls in the dishwashing area and the Silverware in the bin. Bussers also keep Server Station Ice Machine “topped off”. They take dirty bar glasses to the bar and dirty Soda Glasses to the kitchen.
Requirements and Skills:
· Minimum age of 16
· Interest in the hospitality industry; previous entry-level experience in a bar or restaurant is not mandatory, but will be considered a plus
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Team spirit
· Physical ability to lift beer kegs, hold trays of bottles and glassware and stand during the shift
· Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays
Starting Wage: $12.00/Hr
Dishwashers-
Dishwasher workers are responsible for cleaning used kitchenware from dishwashing holding area, loading dishes into the Sanitizing Cleaning Machine, unloading the cleaned sanitized dishes and putting them back in the proper storage area. They also make sure there are always enough utensils around during peak hours.
Requirements and Skills:
· Work experience as a Dishwasher
· Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
· Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
· Time management skills
· Attention to detail and sanitation rules
· Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings
Starting Wage: $10.00/Hr
The positions require the following: To serve alcohol you must be 18 years of age and able to complete servers licensing. Barbacks and Bussers must be 16 years old or older.
