Earth Day

We plan to celebrate Earth Day Saturday, April 20.

Here at Voyager Village, we plan to:

• Cleanup our trails and common area
• Plant trees near the Event Center
• Plant a tree near the 9th Hole Tee in memory of Bob Ellson who passed away in January.
Bob was a longtime resident, volunteering with many projects, including work on the trails,
golf course and landing strip. Bob was an avid golfer, pilot and Voyager Village ambassador.
• Encouraging you to get out with your dogs, friends, neighbors in your neighborhood to pick
up trash and/or branches on or near the road and trails.
If you would like to join one of the group efforts, please join us at 10am inside the Voyager
Village clubhouse. Bring friends, visitors, and neighbors. We will help direct you to one of
various sites where we will be working. Plan on a two-to-three-hour session. Bring your work
gloves and boots. If you plan to organize in your neighborhood, send me a note with your
plans.
